NFL SB44 Cutting Board SUPER BOWL XLIV
FT.LAUDERDALE—*** After a few days of heavy rains, the NFL moved the annual meat market, know as Media Day indoors at the Dolphins Stadium. They used the concourse for the interviews.

***As usual, there were some very stupid questions asked by foreign reporter who know nothing about Football. There was also a scuffle between a couple of reporters as tempers flared.

***Colts defensive end Dwight Freeny says he “hopes to play” Sunday despite torn ligaments kin his right ankle.

***This will be the fourth Super Bowl the Colts are playing in and all have been(or will have been)here in South Florida, including Superbowl III in which Joe Namath and the Jets stunned the Baltimore Colts, but two years later, also in the Orange Bowl, Jim O’Brien booted a last second field goal as the Colts beat the Cowboys. Then of course, the Colts first Superbowl appearance since moving to Indianapolis was three years ago and the Bears fell victim to Peyton Manning and company.

***None of the previous 43 Super Bowls have ever gone into overtime, though there have been a few near misses.

***Guess the Bulls played a true stinker in losing to the L.A.Clippers Tuesday evening. That ended the Bulls five game winning streak.

***The temperatures peaked at 81* Tuesday.
